My Jewel Story:
I have only been a big Jewel fan for about 9mo. I had heard of her before but never really got into her type of music. Well on a whim, I bought POY from a CD club thinking I may like it. I loved it !! Her voice is so
amazing, her music moves me in ways I didn't know music could do. It didn't take long for me to get Spirit and This Way, I also got Life Uncommon on DVD.
As soon as 0304 came out I got it too, although it wasn't what I expected from Jewel, after a few spins I love it too. It is fresh and upbeat and still 100% Jewel. When I am in the mood to listen to Jewel I listen to all of her albums back to back. My favorite time to listen is when I am in rush hour traffic in some big city like Houston or Dallas. She takes the edge off right away ;) I haven't seen her in concert yet but I plan to as soon as she comes through Texas, might even try and catch a few shows if she has mutiple stops in Texas. I hope to meet some fellow EDAs there...
Comments:
A little about myself, I am a truck driver. I drive a flatbed for a company called KTL. I mainly run in Texas but get to LA, AR, OK, NM, and CO. I stay out for 5 days and get home for the weekends. Since I drive for a living I get to listen to alot of music. Some of the other bands I like are old Metallica, 3 Doors Down, Queensryche, Live, Counting Crows, Tom Petty, and many, many more. Most of the music I listen to falls under the catagories of heavy metal, alternative, and classic rock...
When I have free time I like to go fishing, hunting, and offroading in my Toyota Tacoma. I am an active member of a few 4WD clubs and run 2 web sites.

This is the first fan club I have ever been apart of. Jewel's music moved me so much I felt I had to find out more about how she became what she is today. On my Fanscape signiture I have this written: "The World would
be a better place if everyone listen to Jewel". I truly belive this. I look forward to making new friends in this club and getting to know other EDA's around the country...
