My Jewel Story:
I found out about Jewel in (October or November of) 1996. I had heard her song "You Were Meant for Me" on the radio one day while driving in my car and instantly fell in love with it. I wanted to hear it again! After hearing in a few more times on the radio I went to the music store and bought the cassette single. "Foolish Games" was on the single as well, and I thought it was the most beautiful and moving song I had ever heard. That Christmas, my parents gave me the CD "Pieces of You" as a gift. From then on she (Jewel) has been with me through everything and she has made me find and see the beauty in music. Not just in her music, but in music all together.
