My Jewel Story:
My mom had heard her at a friends and then bought the cd because she sounded something like my grandmother. My grandma was a beautiful singer but I had never been able to really hear her because she died when I was in fouth grade due to her long term smoking. I wanted to hear her voice so I listened to Jewel, and Jewel's songs were so sweet, and personal that I just feel in love with them- after reading a couple of interviews and seeing her perfrom a couple of times, I just fell in love with her spirit, and wished I could know her personally-but then again don't we all!
