I joined the EDA mailing list in May, 1996 and I attended JewelStock '96!

My Jewel Story:
Actually, I dated this guy who liked her. When he asked me if I'd ever heard Jewel, I immediately assumed she was some R & B singer. He brought me a tape that had Phyllis Barnabee on it, so I heard that before I heard the album. Then, one night we were sitting together on the couch, and VH-1 Duets with melissa Etheridge came on. From the moment Jewel stepped out onstage, I knew I was hooked. Total addiction from that moment forward :).

In October 1998, I got engaged to Tom O'Brien, a fellow EDA who I met through the list :).
