My Jewel Story:
I first heard her first song "Who will Save
Your Soul" on the radio and I bought her CD
almost as soon as ot came out. I wasn't a huge
fan of hers until her songs started to make so
much sense to me and affect me to a point of
tears so many times. This happened about the
summer of '96 and my love for her (often
called a mild obssesion by my friends) as grown
to so much I can't describe at the moment. Her
songs speak so much to me and I've noticed that
I tend to write poetry in a similar way as her.
I could never compare with the caliber of
beauty and pain that Jewel can emmit from her
words, but I will always try...
