My Jewel Story:
I liked WWSYS and YWMFM but never really had an intrest in the whole CD (thinking that I would only like one song). Then I noticed while visiting home that my dad had the tape and he said I could have it since he didn't really like it (what was wrong with this man?). I played it on a solo two hour drive and didn't get past the first side b/c I kept rewinding and listning over and over and over. :)
That weekend a friend played a live tape she had and I about died. I liked her much better live (but on tape :) ) than on the CD. She copied it for me and it has not left my tape player since!
Comments:
On a side note that I think is pretty funny...my dad's only comment when I asked why he didn't like PoY was "She must not like her father very much." :)
I have since explained to him the song's background and played my tape with her explaining about the friend's father, etc. but he still doesn't like that song!
