My Jewel Story:
I first heard Jewel on a Toronto radio station (CFNY 102.1 The Edge)
in 1994. The song was "Who will save your soul?". From the first
time I heard it, I loved it. I searched for the cd that day, but no
one had it. I had to order it in. Once I got it, I sat down and
listened to the entire cd from beginning to end. It is one of the
only cds I own that I actually listen to from beginning to end. I
love every song. With her vocal range and incredible lyrics, Jewel
has to be one of the best (if not the best) singers of all time.
Comments:
Jewel is an incredible person not just because of her songs, but
because of her integrity and character. Coming from such a hard life,
most people would be spoiled by the money and fame. Not Jewel though.
She seems so down to earth and grounded. You have to respect that of
her. Jewel, in my opinion, should be admired and looked up to not
just for her music, but for the person behind the music.
