My Jewel Story:
Sitting on the couch after a very long day in about March of '95...Flip past Vh1 and some chick is introducing this Jewel person and I figure by the way they're talking about her that she's this big thing and that I should listen to the song (WWSYS). I'm fairly impressed and walk around school for the next week singing, "Aunt Keel's got social security but it don't pay her bills," because I don't know the lyrics yet, driving my friends crazy. A few days later I actually have money and by POY. The rest is history, if I may be clichéd.
