My Jewel Story:
I was on the Alanis Morrisette mailing list in the summer of '95.
Everyone started out by introducing themselves and listing who their
favorite artists were. A lot of people listed Jewel in their intros,
and I just kept wondering to myself, "Who the hell is this Jewel
person?" Well, these people couldn't have bad taste for liking Alanis,
so I decided to pick up her CD when I next got the chance.
The next time I was in a record store, it was sold out. Oh well.
But a few weeks later, they had more. I picked up a copy and fell in
love. I then I proceeded to find out anything and everything about
her, and was lucky to find the Everyday Angels page of the web, which
also had something on the mailing list, which I will never regret
joining to this day.
