My Jewel Story:
Well, I can remember about 1995 going out to the car and listening to music over the car stereo ( so as not to be disturbed ). Then I heard Jewel for one of the first times in my life. I remember liking her a lot.
I did not hear much of her after that. Not until Jul. 1996. I went to Duke University for a summer program called TIP ( Talent Identification Program: You have to have a 600+ on the SAT in either Grammer or Math in the Seventh Grade. ) Well, anyway, I heard the song played and me and a couple friends went up to big stereo type stand thingy and started Karoke-ing to Jewel's WWSYS.
Then, just this Aug., the friend wrote me a letter in response to MY letter ( this is all old-fashioned Snail-Mail of course, you should try it sometime...handwritten too. ) Her letter said that co-incidentally, she opended my letter, and Jewel began playing on the radio. So...upon reading this I decided to gather as much info as possible on Jewel via the Web. Mission Accomplished...I found a GREAT SITE!!! One of the best out there...so I was so intrigued, I decided to look at EVERY link on the site ( I'm kinda wierd like that ).
Soon, I got to the last link. Mailing List. I subscribed, and dove into the vast wealth of treasured knowledge that is so often shared by the EDA's. Since, I've read EVERY post...( I'm kinda wierd like that )
I hope to someday meet all you other EDA's while at a Jewel concert...however, I'm worried that both may never happen. =( But not if I have anything to do with it! =)
If you'd like to inquire/discuss about the afore mentioned program ( TIP ) please feel free to mail me. If you would like to talk to me about anything mail me. If you would like to leave me alone...I don't care...you WILL mail me =)
