A guy on this board , http://209.51.153.194/listlyrics.php;jsessionid=3C30F1497C263225EF774AC6CCA52821?hid=%2B4dpgAmiBCM%3D , posts the mumbled lyrics like this: As the years pass by Before my face, As wars rage before me, Finding myself In these last days of existence, This parasite inside me, I forced it out. In the darkness of the storm Lies an evil, But it's me. |

I guess I could say that I am among the naive teenagers who decided (when some others are unwillingly forced) to grow up ate the age of 13. I was a dreamer before then, a nature lover, I did not care about much except where I could go next in my fantasy and in the "wilderness" of the city. And then I pushed all the fantasy into the deep recesses of my memory and focuesed on getting into college at the ripe age of 15. This song was like an expression of everything I was feeling in my dreams at night that I hid from myself in the day. It is something to be remembered... |

yes im a christian reveiwer. this song is probabally one of the best songs ever made in my opinion. its beautiful times two. ts tlaknig about a person, im guessing a teenager, realizes the stresses of life and misses the innoscence and simpleness of being a child. i can relate to this song alot. |

This song is an excellent song that could definitely be classified as "Easy Listening." There is a nice sound to it. I love the bells or chimes or what ever they're called in teh backround. They really add flavor to the song. This song is so unbelieveably true. Most people grow up from an innocent child and develop into an adult with a history of sin behind them. Field of Innocence is of course about how a person, Amy Lee or whoever in question, has grown from an adorable child into a lying, deceptive and cruel adult. Much of the above can be related to almost any person...unfortunately. |
